Overview
This website is operated by Targa Tools. Throughout the site, the terms “we,” “us” and “our” refer to Targa Tools. Targa Tools offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, conditioned upon your acceptance of the terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.
By visiting our site or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, including the policies referenced here or available by hyperlink. These Terms apply to all users of the site, including browsers, vendors, customers, merchants and contributors of content.
Please read these Terms carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not access the website or use its services.
Any new features or tools added to the store are also subject to these Terms. You can review the current version on this page. We reserve the right to update these Terms by posting changes to our website. Your continued use of the website following those changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, subject to applicable law.
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform we use to sell our products and services.
Section 1: Online Store Terms
By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your province, territory or other jurisdiction of residence, or that you have provided consent for your minor dependants to use this site.
You may not use our products or services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose or violate applicable laws while using the Service.
You must not transmit viruses, malicious software or other destructive code.
A breach of these Terms may result in termination of your access to the Service.
Section 2: General Conditions
We reserve the right to refuse service, subject to applicable law.
You understand that your content, excluding credit card information, may be transferred across various networks and adapted to meet the technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. Credit card information is encrypted during transfer over networks.
You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, access to the Service or website content without our express written permission.
Headings are provided for convenience and do not limit or otherwise affect these Terms.
Section 3: Accuracy, Completeness and Timeliness of Information
We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate product and website information. However, information may contain errors, omissions or outdated details.
Website content is provided for general information. For application suitability, compatibility, safety requirements or technical specifications, consult the applicable manufacturer’s documentation and contact us if clarification is required before ordering.
Historical information is provided for reference and may not be current. We reserve the right to modify website content, subject to applicable law.
Section 4: Modifications to the Service and Prices
Product prices are subject to change without notice.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service, or any part of it, at any time, subject to applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for modifications, price changes, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.
Section 5: Products and Services
Certain products or services may be available exclusively online and may have limited availability. Returns and exchanges are governed by our Return and Refund Policy.
We make reasonable efforts to display product images and colours accurately. Actual products, packaging and colours may differ from what appears on your screen.
We reserve the right to limit sales to particular persons, geographic regions or jurisdictions and to limit the quantities available for purchase.
Product descriptions, pricing and availability may change. We reserve the right to discontinue products. Offers are void where prohibited by law.
Customers are responsible for reviewing the product description, selling unit, package quantity, minimum order quantity, order increments and applicable lead time before purchasing.
Products must be selected, installed, operated and maintained according to the manufacturer’s instructions and applicable safety requirements.
Section 6: Orders, Billing and Account Information
We reserve the right to refuse an order or limit or cancel quantities, subject to applicable law. Restrictions may apply to orders placed under the same customer account, payment method, billing address or shipping address.
If we change or cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you using the contact information supplied with the order.
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information. Please promptly update your email address, billing details and other account information so we can complete transactions and contact you when required.
Returns are subject to our Return and Refund Policy and require prior authorization. A restocking fee of 20% may apply to certain returns. Return eligibility and the applicable fee will be confirmed during the return authorization process.
For cancellation requests, contact CSR@TargaTools.com as soon as possible. We will confirm whether the order can still be cancelled and whether any charges apply.
Section 7: Shipping, Freight and Delivery
Shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy.
Free standard shipping is available on eligible Canadian orders of $100 CAD or more in merchandise after discounts, before taxes and freight. Canadian orders below $100 CAD pay freight. Expedited services cost extra, and additional charges may apply to remote destinations or locations with limited carrier access.
Delivery to US addresses is temporarily suspended while tariffs are in place. US customers may purchase for pickup or delivery to a Canadian address. Contact us to arrange pickup before travelling.
Shipping to other supported international destinations remains available, with freight paid by the customer. Contact CSR@TargaTools.com to confirm availability and obtain a freight quote.
Product processing and lead times are separate from carrier transit times. Selecting expedited shipping does not shorten a product’s processing or lead time.
Customers are responsible for applicable customs duties, import taxes, tariffs and other destination charges unless expressly included in a quote.
Section 8: Optional Tools
We may provide access to third-party tools that we do not monitor or control.
Such tools are provided “as is” and “as available,” without endorsement or additional warranties from Targa Tools, to the extent permitted by law.
Your use of optional third-party tools is at your discretion and subject to the relevant provider’s terms. Review those terms before using the tools.
New website features, tools and services are also subject to these Terms.
Section 9: Third-Party Links
Certain content, products and services may include materials from third parties.
Third-party links may direct you to websites that are not affiliated with Targa Tools. We are not responsible for examining or evaluating their content or accuracy and do not endorse their products, services or materials unless expressly stated.
Review third-party policies and practices before engaging in transactions. Questions or complaints concerning third-party products or services should be directed to the relevant provider.
Section 10: Comments, Feedback and Submissions
If you send us suggestions, proposals, ideas, reviews or other submissions, you agree that we may use, reproduce, edit, publish and distribute those submissions, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.
Unless otherwise agreed or required by law, we are not obligated to maintain unsolicited submissions in confidence, pay compensation for them or respond to them.
We may remove content that we determine is unlawful, threatening, defamatory, abusive, obscene or otherwise objectionable, or that violates intellectual property rights or these Terms.
Your submissions must not violate another person’s rights, contain unlawful material or malicious code, or misrepresent your identity or the origin of the submission.
You are responsible for your submissions and their accuracy.
Section 11: Personal Information
Personal information submitted through the store is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
Section 12: Errors, Inaccuracies and Omissions
Website information may occasionally contain errors or omissions relating to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, shipping charges, lead times or availability.
We reserve the right to correct errors, update information or cancel affected orders, subject to applicable law, including after an order has been submitted. If an order is affected, we will attempt to contact you using the information provided.
Except where required by law, we are not obligated to update all website information on a particular schedule. An update date on one page does not mean all website content has been reviewed or updated.
Section 13: Prohibited Uses
You may not use the website or its content:
- For unlawful purposes or to encourage unlawful activity.
- To violate applicable laws or regulations.
- To infringe intellectual property or other rights.
- To harass, abuse, threaten, defame or discriminate against others.
- To submit false or misleading information.
- To upload viruses, malicious software or destructive code.
- To collect or misuse another person’s personal information.
- To spam, phish, impersonate others or conduct fraudulent activity.
- To interfere with or circumvent website security.
- To disrupt the operation of this website, related services or other websites.
We reserve the right to terminate access for prohibited use, subject to applicable law.
Section 14: Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
We do not guarantee that access to the Service will always be uninterrupted, timely or error-free.
Except as expressly stated by us or the manufacturer, and to the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service and products are provided “as is” and “as available,” without additional representations, warranties or conditions.
Manufacturer warranties, where available, are governed by the manufacturer’s terms. Our Return and Refund Policy provides further information about warranty support.
To the extent permitted by law, Targa Tools and its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, suppliers and service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from the use of the Service or products, including lost profits, revenue, savings or data.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights, warranties or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Section 15: Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Targa Tools, its parent, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors and service providers from third-party claims and reasonable related costs arising from your breach of these Terms, violation of applicable law or infringement of another party’s rights.
Section 16: Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, that provision will apply to the fullest extent permitted by law. Any unenforceable portion will be severed without affecting the validity of the remaining provisions.
Section 17: Termination
These Terms remain effective unless terminated by you or us.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, subject to applicable law.
Termination does not remove payment obligations or other liabilities incurred before termination. Provisions intended to survive termination will continue to apply.
Section 18: Entire Agreement and Governing Law
These Terms, together with the policies referenced here, constitute the agreement governing your use of the Service.
Our failure to enforce a provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.
These Terms and any separate agreements through which we provide services are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario, subject to any mandatory protections provided by applicable law.
Section 19: Changes to These Terms
You can review the current Terms of Service on this page.
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on our website. Your continued use of the website or Service following the posting of changes constitutes acceptance of those changes, subject to applicable law.
